hi everyone,
I'm looking for an easy way to close holes (mostly airbubbles) in resin parts, can any of you help me out with this?
I'm usually using revell's putty and mr surfacer for styrene parts, can I maybe mix either one with some sort of glue to make it stick to the resin?

regards Max

Make sure to clean the resin.... Mold release agents will usually cause the putty not to adhere

Thanks for the info,
so absolutely no way of "modifying" other putties?
if so I'll give the bondo a try...

Cheers

Well, I like the Bondo brand because you get a LOT more for the money and it dries sooooo much faster than Squadron and Testors putties. You can still thin it out with Testors Plastic Model Cement, too.

Any body filler/glazing putty will work, I just happen to use Bondo brand putty.
Here's the product info so you can compare it to selections available where you are!

Bondo Red Putty

Hope this helps more.
