i recently purchased a braille scale kit by waterloo 1815 of the italian 149mm/M1940 heavy howitzer. i could not mask my delight as this is the first model i have ever seen of this gun and it would make the perfect addition to my italian desert army of 1940/41. however when i openend the box i found it be made although rather well in that nightmarish soft plastic. i used to convert older airfix 1/32 and 1/76 figures years ago but found that the glues i tried either didn't bond at all or came apart with no more movement than my own breathing on the figure. any suggestions?

Bob Smith Industries , which can be found at Hobby Town, makes a type forulated for rubber tires. I surmise it may work.

No need to look at anything. JB Weld has a relatively new product that is designed specifically to bond polyethylene-style plastics.--Steve Scott
