I personally have lost a lot of nerves with certain internet model-shops. While, with most of the shops I got in contact with I was satisfied, unfortunately there are also some (at least here in Europe), which seem not to care about customers. Beyond their nasty habit of indicating items on their web-site, which are definitely not existing with them (unlike other shops, where even temporary lack is well defined), you will never get even response.
So, you are relaxing, waiting for the goods, which will never arrive. And you will definitely not place and order for the same item with an other shop, since you want only ONE of the kit in question.
So, in my experience the worse shop is Hobbyshop (www.modellbauversand.at). It seems to me that they have never even seen majority of the goods indicated on their site. You place and order, and wait. No response. You write them an e-mail message – no response, second one – still nothing. You try to call them – no response.
Similar experiences I have with ADV-Azimut (http://www.phpshopxml.com/azimut.shop) (orders from November 11, 2008 and February 4, 2009 – No. 4386 and 4928 did not deserve even a short message) and with Jordi Rubio (www.jordirubio.com) (order from March 17, 2009 and June 16, 2009 – No. 3852 and 4188). Though I’m aware, that it is impossible to have everything on the stock, but I do assume, that the shops are for the customers and not the customers for the shops, so I definitely would expect more care in case of any order placed.
That’s all for now,
