Hi, I'm a new poster here who has dabbled since he was a young fella in modelling..first the old Airfix aircraft starting of course with the Spitfire, then in my early teens shifting to mostly military vehicles because I could wargame with them.

Had a long hiatus in my twenties and thirties, but now am making models again.

I read a lot on the various scale modeller forums about using "Future" as a sealant before weathering. Then I also read that Johnsons have changed the formula....or maybe not? So I have a couple of queries for the veterans of the boards.

1. Do we get, or still get, this product in NZ and what is the brand name?

2. I'm a brush painter, for now anyway. Is Future suitable for brush application or is it really suitable only for airbrush?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

Regards
Ivan McIntosh

Hi Ivan

Welcome to the forum.

As far as I am aware you can still get Future in New Zealand.

I got mine from Countdown.

Its called Klear Floor Polish.

You can add it by both brush and airbrush.

Cheers

G'day gents,

A mate of mine here in Melbourne uses "Pledge One Go/Klear ". I'd be pretty certain you can get it there in Shabangabang.

As in...spraycan Pledge?

I bought a bottle of Klear, but a spraycan of the Pledge stuff would certainly speed along the process!

Hey mate,

Mine is in floor polish liquid form. Never seen it in spray can, but then again never really looked.

Cheers,
