Hi Guys
i could not find a turret for my sherman tank sooooooo
I found a spray can top that had an odd shape and went from there
I used som plastic from old 3 inch disks a bit of donated red model building putty a great deal of sanding tnen the paint
the double pom pomswere on the sherman that I wa trained on in the national guards
it was the main body of a sherman two chrysler engines ( souped up with the premission of high command but the regular turret had been replaset with the turret of s Duster 42 our tank was designated as the M42 A1D and we could brin[g down anything that the enemy could put wings onIMG]http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv11/grandpappy43/DSCF3128.jpg[/IMG]

I dont know how they might do it but the price of kits have gotten to high for older folks to afford
