Won another kit at my IPMS club raffle. Armor selection was limited to just an Italeri M4A1 Sherman and a Tamiya towed Flak 37 gun. I ended up choosing a Tamiya 1/48 scale Gloster Meteor F.3.

A friend offered to trade a Tamiya T-72M1, plus an Esci 1/72 T-62 and the Eduard 1/72 scale PE for the T-62 in exchange for the Meteor. Needless to say, next month I'll have a new T-72. And here I thought I was going to be stuck with another aircraft kit, albeit a very nice one with clear engine covers.

Should have bought a Powerball ticket...

Congratulations Sabot.

Have fun with your new projects. Always nice to chalk one up in the win column.

Rob,
Sounds like my experiences with the Granite State folks in Nashua NH.

For $5 per month I've won

Trumpter S tank
1/48 Hasegawa A7E (traded for BMP3)
Trumpeter T55 w plow ( to be canabalized for fittings for SP designs T55 urban assault vehicle)
Revell F15E 1/48
Academy F15C1/48

and a Trumpeter 1/32 A10 ( and a second ticket pulled that month that I turned down)

I've been a member for about a year and a half and been to about a dozen meetings, at $5 per meeting that's $60 out..

I figure I'm WAY ahead at this point.

Rob,
Man if I had your luck I'd be buying 4 or 5 Powerball tix for each drawing. Nice little trade, no matter what some people say I think the Tamiya T-72 is a nice kit.
