Hi Guys,
I recently aqcuired a 1/35 Tamya Marder 1A2. There is an area set up 1/3 of the way from the back of the kit that holds 2 Ccell batteries. All of the road wheels are completely movable. Does anybody know of the motor intended for this kit or have some idea where I may aqcuire one?
TIA
Matt N.

It was their 'standard' single size gearbox, available from a number of their motorised kits.
Little more than a toy feature though, as some compromises were necessary to make it fit.
Tamiya also offered a twin-motor box to give independant L-R control.
The 1A2 is an update to their original 80's kit when it was a current MV. Still a nice kit.
ASFAIK, it wasn't offered with the gearbox in the UK, but may have been in Japan.
The Revel 1A3 can be made into the Current 1A5 standard with a few(!) conversion parts.
