Okay, I am sure it has been posted before but, How do you convert feet into 1/35th scale?

it is much easier to convert the measurement into MM and then divide by 35.

Hey Mike...9mm equals 1 foot in 1/35th. Just under and I mean just under 3/8th's equals 1 foot in 1/35th. That should get you going.

1"=35": 1/35 scale 1"=32": 1/32nd scale, etc?

Hi Mike,

Measurement in units divided by 35 equals measurement in scale units. (X units / 35 = Y units in scale)

For example, let's say you have a 22 foot long tank and want the length in 1/35 scale.

22 feet / 35 = 0.629 feet in 1/35 scale

OR

22 feet * 12 inches = 264 inches / 35 = 7.543 inches in 1/35 scale

OR

22 feet * 12 inches * 25.4 mm = 6705.6 mm / 35 = 191.6 mm in 1/35 scale

It's really that simple. I agree with Darren that converting everything to metric units makes the math a whole lot easier.
