HI all, thanks for the great tips so far! You guys have been a great help to a newbie. Anyway, I'm thinking of scratch building a few springs using an old guitar string. The string is a G bronze wound for those who know guitars. I'm wondering what type of paint I should use. Enamel, Acrylic,..etc. Any ideas?

hi,
eyeball you should be able to use any paint as long as you prime the wire 1st but before hand give it a quick wash in soapy water to clean it and then use what ever paint you fancy hth :-)
