Hi,
I have just joined the site but have been interested in collecting German Dress Daggers of the Third Reich for a number of years.
I have developed and own the site www.germandressdaggers.com.
If you are not familiar with German Gress Daggers, they are used as part fo the dress uniform for parades, official events etc. Not used for combat. Each military and official department of the 3rd Riech had their own special designes. Some had gold or silver fittings etc. Very German. Very expencive hobby as the cheapest will cost you about £300 each !!!!
My favourite are the Luftwaffe 2nd model, Army (Heer) and Kriegsmarine 2 (Navy 2nd model)
If you want to see top class dress daggers then have a look, nice "eye candy"
The main dagger gallery is listed as "Dagger Gallery"
If you want a quick overview then go to the "Quick Pic Gallery" gallery
