Hey, does anybody no of a good method for applying aluminum foil to and aircraft fuselage?

Welcome to the site. Hopr you get everything you and more while here.....
that said, you may want to check Fine Scale Modeler on line, they did a story about a year ago on using aluminum foil on aircraft. I suspect someone else on this site has as well. But if you don't get any other answers FSM is at least one source to try....

You'll need to go to your hobby store and get some foil adhesive. The most commonly used brand is Microscale. Their website is here:

I've tried using diluted Elmer's glue as an alternative to the unavailable Microscale foil adhesive. It works well though you have to wait for a bit until it dries. No pictures though since I've only foiled one drop tank before I got hooked on AFVs.
