So, i guess that i should say Hi....My name's Ed, and I'm modelnutz

Tell a bit about myself ?
OK...thanks for asking

By profession..was an engineer...but now I'm a freelance modelmaker as well as a GK producer. So, if anyone needs some casting or part mastering..give me a holler....I'll try to help you out.
I'm also pretty free with the info I've aquired over the years...so, if you have questions about mold making or casting...again...search me out and feel free to ask away...

As for my modeling tastes...I tend to lean towards Dinos as well as Aircraft.
Somewhere inside me is a diorama builder... just waiting to break out.

Projects on the bench include.... Masters for a small resin spacecraft kit.....some German WW2 armor ( gonna need some help there I'll tell ya' ) Another set of masters for yet another spacecraft......and masters for a War of the Worlds tripod.
I'm sure there's more....I'd like to mention all of them...if I don't, they just stare at me from the shelf.....makes it real hard to get work done

So, enough about me...tell me a little about YOU...

Welcome Ed! Welcome to the show. Might have a few Q's on casting for you now and then. Maybe you could do a SBS of part mastering sometime in the future? Dinos sound cool, too. Have fun always.
Cheers!

Hello Ed,
Welcome.
The easiest way to post photos is to create a gallery here on Armorama, upload the photos to the gallery then they're pretty easy to link to a forum thread. (if I can figure it out, anyone can!)
Cheers,
Charles

Welcome Edward. There are some great people here on the site. I'm a scratchbuilder. I'm really into WW1 aircraft. I have a few scratchbuilds coming up for a few campaigns beginning next year. Perhaps we can share a few techniques.

If you have any questions about the site, just ask.

Hi Ed, Don't look, just jump right in, the water is fine .It is always great to have a new face (and ideas) in the crowd. As far as finishing things, we all have those things staring at us with the evil eye from the selves. At night I swear I hear them whispering in consipacy. . Great to have you onboard.

Welcome Aboard! I've only really done one dio in the past years. Using a cardboard box, hardware cloth, model RR vegetation, paper mache and a bunch of Pocahontas figures from the movie, we did “Louis & Clark meet Sacagawea" for my daughter’s 8th grade history class. She got an A and I retired from the dio business.
