Good literature for armor reference

I would like to hear people's opinion on different literature to use for armor reference.
I am thinking of buying the "Encyclopedia of tanks and fighting vehicles", has anyone read it?

Are the different Osprey-series good to use?

Has anyone also got any tips for good literature on the modelling process of AFV's?

Any of the Hunnicutt books from Presido Press, although they are expensive.
Also, look at places like Sam's Club for cheap reference books.
I haven't seen the book you refer to. Who is the publisher?

Doing only subjects who server in the Italian Army, I mainly use the relevant Tech Manuals I have access to. Often you can buy these for a few bucks at car boot sales or at those little fairs held in small villages...

Authors: Hunnicutt, Zaloga, Cookie (?). I heard a lot of negative remarks about Suvorov, so avoid him (historical inaccuracies among them)
