Nice to meet you people, this is my first topic so don't expect this to be the best. It's about military vehicles you like/love (No need to tell why).
Here are mine:
- FT-17
- L3 tankette
- Chi-Ha
- TKS tankette
- Valentine
- TSR2
There's a lot more but I don't want to fill up this place yet.

Definatly Pz.Kpfw III and IV, and variants built on these chasis, are my clear favourites.
Don´t have a reason, and can´t explain why.
After that, would be early WW2 and engineering vehicles.

Wow what a neat topic. For me it began with the Tiger as the shape of it always seemed contradictory, yet aesthetically appealing. But vehicles based off of the Czech Praga 38t chassis has as of late captured my mind. It also helps that I have just returned to the hobby after 13 years, and being as such my room for built armor kits is limited making the diminutive 38t vehicles perfect for me. Granted pretty much any Panzer gets the blood going.
Thanks again for the great topic.

Definitely the Panzer IV and Sherman variants.
SdKfz 251s and Panthers are up there too, as well as armored cars and artillery from WWII.
A nice Tiger is good for the soul as well
These were the first tanks and armor I built as a kid, so I guess thats why I like 'em so much. I also got books from the library with plenty of Panzer IVs and Shermans, so those images must have stuck in my head.

Yeah, the first image I remember is of a Tiger in the Ost front. My first official armor model was of a MonogramTiger that snapped together. After the Tiger it was all downhill( or would that be uphill?) from there. Italarie/Testers armor models by the dozens. I can also say that the Panther struck me as a child.

The T26E3 Pershing. Just the look of it. An American Tank with a gun able to defeat Panthers and Tigers. (saving my pennies for the new Bronco release)
Tiger I - just a slab sided teutonic monster. Fear factor alone makes this a standout in my mind.
Panther Series - what Germany 'should' have built in as many numbers as it could. While not a world beater - it would have made things more interesting.
M4 Sherman - I have a soft spot for the "Ronson" of the battlefield.
Fast forward 60+ years -
Abrams M1A2 AIM - you know the saying - "Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil - for I am the biggest, baddest MoFo in the valley." - Well that's the Abrams. The baddest MoFo in the valley, on the road, in the city - anywhere.

Tiger I
- it just has that "look" to it
Panzer I ausf C
- I like the track and road wheel stance
Stug
pretty well the entire Stug line because they look so no nonsense
Ostwind and Wirbelwind
-they also just look neat to me
DUKW
-because it almost wasn't accepted and is just so ugly and odd it's cool (like me!)
Russian BM13 "Katyusha" truck mounted rocket launcher
-simple, effective, and deadly, a poor man's Sherman Calliope
M-88
- I crewed one and did cool stuff with it
WWI Mark IV and V in both male, female, and hermaphrodite versions
- they led to everything else. I also can imagine the shock and disbelief of the troops who faced them for the first time.
A7V Sturmpanzerwagen
-big. lumbering, ugly almost like something from a bad Sci-Fi movie
Fokker D.VII
-if i was rich and could afford anything, I'd have to have a reproduction and learn to fly
P-40 in Flying Tigers colors
-nothing needs to be added
A-10
-it has that same no nonsense I'm here to tear s**t up! look as the Stugs

This is an easy one, the M3/M5 Stuart series including the "Honey." The main reason is the comic book G.I. Combat, the Haunted Tank. That comic really got me interested in history. The Haunted Tank was supposed to have some kind of super dooper ammo that allowed it to kill Tigers at will, from all ranges. The book Brazen Chariots was one of the first "adult" history books I can remember reading and it concerned the Honey's of the Desert Rats.

As a child, I saw several armor models that had the "cool" factor that caught my eye. They were the Aurora MBT70, Renwal M50 Ontos and the ITC/Ringo T92 airborne drop tank.
Of the actual tanks I have played with, the M48A5, M60A3TTS and the M1A1 have a place in my heart, much like a good car you used to own.

M2A1/2 Bradley, drove and gunned on one at Ft. Stewart, gunned and commanded one in Germany. There's no better feeling than roaring around the countryside in a huge IFV!

The old Bundeswehr "Kanone" (Kanonen-Jagdpanzer) because of it's "don't mess with me" look. Advancing behind one during an exercise adds to the feelings
The LWK 0.5togl "Iltis" because of the times spend digging this "all terrain vehicle" out after it proved less than "all terrain" (Hint: A 75HP VW petrol engine and a 2to vehicle DON'T match)
The LKW 2to gl "Unimog" for that's the vehicle the real Infantry rode. Marder IFV's are for whimps
And the Leopard 1A4 because it makes a nice submarine after the Combat Engineers dropped one (including a CE bridge) into the Mittellandkanal
