The Austin Armor Builders Society is holding our Scale Modeling Show – AMPS Centex 2009 on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Dr. John’s Sports Center in Cedar Park, Texas.

Our show theme this year is “Armor in Foreign Services”. To be eligible for the theme award the entry has to be a armored vehicle, soft skin, artillery, diorama, or figure (using equipment) used by a country that did not originally produce it. For example, British use of M-4 Sherman tanks in WWII. Poland using Russian T-55’s during the Cold War, WWII Germany using Czech Pz.38 (t) tanks.

We are a regional chapter of the Armor Modeling and Preservation Society (AMPS) and we will be using AMPS judging rules for the entries. For more information about our show and the vendor list, please visit our website:
