it will be held at the River Eagle hobbyshop

So how did the initial meeting go ? You guys off to a good start ? Just hang in there, and make sure you get the word out, Libraries, schools, etc. plus plenty of net chatter. You'll get quite a few that will come and go, but if you're lucky, you'll get several die-hards that will hang in there. Good Luck, Semper Fi............................Bruce

It went well have 7 members already contacted IPMS reg 5 Rep out of St Louis and he is sending us our forms to fill out.
We did better than we expected. now that we will be IPMS it will be easier to get the word out.

Congrats on the new club. In case you don't know this already, there is model show coming up on Saturday, September 12th in St. Louis. The location is near Six Flags in Eureka if know where that is. It would make a great day trip for you and your club members. There is always a great showing of models and a good amount of venders there. The link below has the details and map.

It would be nice to drop in and see how things work but I live down in Southeast Mo and that would be a little far to drive

We have a show coming up in KC as well. If you guys are having meetings in Boonville, I would love to find out more.

I supervise the logistics for the Missouri National Guard Infantry Rifle Company located there and would love to visit the local hobby shop when I come in town.
