Just wanted to let everyone know that we're trying something new this year. We're inviting model clubs to do a club display table. The table can have any theme; the only condition is that all the models be completed by members of a local club. The individual models on the table can be entered in the main contest or not - your choice.

It should be fun...and remember, fun is why we are here.

Danny where is the 2011 show? Or is this not yet decided?

The short answer is we're not ready to make an announcement about 2011.

But the long answer is, we are working on developing a longer-term international show schedule so that people will be able to plan several years in advance. That should help regional shows too (and stay tuned for more announcements about those as well).

The only reason we can even host these shows is because we have a small number of very dedicated volunteers. Yes, there is a big crew working for the 2010 show already, and there is a crew working on the 2011 show already as well. There's even a few guys working on 2012. We are all very lucky these guys are willing to give up their time building tanks or hanging out with their families in order to bring the rest of us a show.

Show 'em your support by joining AMPS and attending our shows. And help out if you can. It's a lot more fun than you might think.

Great News, Never been to an AMPS show, So I am looking forward to this. Already have my vacation time planned. If my info is correct, early registration starts 1 Jan, 2010. Also, I am interested in helping out, ie security, judgeing etc. Will there be any local hotels offering a discount/package for this event? Regards, milvehfan
