Resin is plastic. Polystyrene is plastic.
Neither is better or worse than the other. They both have their own advantages and dissadvantages.
Maybe if you elaborate a bit more, youŽll get a better answer.

Now we spoke about this before. - You really have to be more specific in your questions.
Resin is great for making large outdoor sculptures with great detail.
Plastic is good for making cheap disposable shopping bags.

Kind of like asking, which is better, a car or a truck?

Which IS better? (truckwise)
plastic can hold shape better sometimes, resin can be bent in the right(Wrong) circumstances.
pastic is easier on the blade,
one of my teeth are made from resin.
resin fumes *can be* toxic, bit not all the time,
but wear a mask as im sure you dont want little iddy bits of crap in your lungs.
resin can be reshaped with a high temperature, ( very warm water)
plastic can be used to make stretched sprue,
i advise using a razor saw for resin,
plastic usually bonds with poly cement,
resin neds CA or *Superglue*
plastic basted with turky stock tastes nicer than resin basted in turkey stock.
cheese makes a delightful side to any dish

I have a resin tooth, also. Inside, though, there is a metal pin to hold it there. I suspect something more sinister, however, because when the weather is just right, the voices come through the tooth, and talk to me.....
Remember, alcohol and gasoline do not mix; alcohol, by itself ain't too bad. Also...I didn't start this, but am happy to play also; this is fun...
