i was messing around with some old screen from a window and i thought . hey this could work for spent 1/35 brass.

step 1. get some screen , this is the nylon(?) not the metal screen

step 2 . cut a vertical string as close as you can to the horizontal sring

step 3. cut off the short horzontal strings . 30 spent rounds

i think if you paint the screen first it work beter.

That is simple and cool idea. A very easy way to make several spent rounds without too much effort.

A person could cut several strings, paint them brass, and then cut off the individual casings and end up with one end of the casing being black giving it a good representation of a spent round.

Neat idea. Thanks for sharing.

Really neat idea. I use old computer CPU's, I cut the brass prongs off with a motor tool get about a hundred per CPU. I get the processor from a repair shop in town. They'er happy to get rid of the old ones. Anyway another option. I think your's is better.

Easier method, just cut thin brass wire to desired leagnth. No muss or fuss of painting small stuff and good to go.
