Hi Everyone,

I am a newby, and have just got back into modelling after 20 odd years. Could anyone help with where the best place is to purchase WW11 BoB aircraft in 1/32 scale? Is it cheaper on-line or local hobby shop. I am based in Vaal triangle.

Hi,

May I ask where in the Vaal? I may be able to help you there.

Hello Howard,

Currently I would reccommend Toy Train in Meyerton as they are cheaper than any of the other modeling stockists. We have had some good as well as bad experiences with ordering models on the net. The main problem being the Post Office with items dissapearing from the parcels.

We have a modeling club in the Vaal as well if you feel inclined towards meeting with fellow modelers.

Give me a shout.

Thank you for the info.

I have bought a 1:48 ME109 to kick off, and have started on the cockpit. Got a Spitty MkvB airfix 1:24 for fatherday, but this must wait until skill levels are better! All above from Toy Train, and yes I agree, their prices do seem the best.

I have some family in UK who could send me some stuff, but the PO could still "LOSE" stuff!!

Please PM me details of local Vaal club, so I can make contact.

Cheers
