I need a set of M1A1 AIM Decals, just one tank that is painted in overall sand should do. I will trade a full set of DML M1A2 SEP decals, I think there is enough for about 4-5 tanks.
PM Me

Just finished poking through my stash and I may have found what you are looking for. I have two nearly complete sets of decals from Dragon's AIM kits. Was there any particular tank you were interested in from that decal sheet? I also have a fairly complete set of decals from Echelon that cover M1A1 HA Abrams from the 3-69 Armored Regiment. Would a picture help? All told I could probably build a good twenty or so tanks from all those markings and that ain't ever gonna happen from me.

I have no real preferance on a certain tank, just a sand M1A1 AIM. Pictures of the extra DML AIM decals would be great so I could maybe choose between them. I dont really think M1A1HA decals will work for me though.

I'm taking a look at the instructions for Dragon's AIM kit right now. Looks like the kit decals I have are for seven AIM tanks (all NATO camo I'm afraid), an M1A1 D model (sand), and one M1A1 Heavy Common (also sand).

The good news. According to info found on Dragon's instructions, AIM tanks are indeed the same as the Heavy Common version. An AIM tank is simply an HC (or sometimes HA) tank that has been totally rebuilt to "like new" condition.

So although the NATO marked AIM tanks might not help you out, there is one set of markings for a sand coloured Heavy Common vehicle. And The Echelon decals are all sand coloured HC tanks.

Would you be interested in decals for a sand coloured HC tank? You shouldn't have to alter the model at all to build one.

Took some pics of the decals and the instructions.

Here's the Heavy Common tank that comes from the Dragon kit. A fairly well known tank that has no doubt been published in a few modeling books. ALL BOUT DA BONES.

I didn't build this tank so all the required decals are still available. In fact I have enough to build it twice.

And here's the Heavy Common tanks from Echelon. I didn't build any specific tank with these decals. I just picked and chose what I needed so it's fairly intact. Lot's of fantastic quality data stencils on this sheet.

So that's the decals I have. Just pick a tank or two and I'll cut out what you'd like including the instructions. You can PM me your address. You can keep the SEP decals though I appreciate the offer. No plans to build a SEP tank in the future even though I have the Dragon SEP on my shelf. I'll probably convert it to a Marine tank.

I should be able to get around to mailing the decals Friday morning.

Ill would love the "Can Tank R US" or "All Bout Da Bones" set. Whichever is more complete or whichever you have less want for. Thank you very much Matt. I owe you one.

I'll send you decals for both tanks. And I'm just happy to be able to help a fellow modeler. Especially one whose into Abrams like me. If you need reference pics I can send you some via email as well. I'm sure I have some on my computer for ALL BOUT DA BONES. I've also got lots of pics of various army tanks from that time.

I'll mail the decals Friday morning.
