Hi all. I was wondering if any of you chaps out there have got/seen/know of any software that a person could use to load up all their kits, paints, decals etc., in a spreadsheet or database kinda thing, to keep track of their often GINORMOUS stash...!!!??

Cheers, Laurie

if you have notepad as I have you can make that list and then print, my insurance company said they would not cover losses of my hobby supplies, tools and kits without documentation so allong with your list include kit catalouge #s and photos of kits and your work station. my ins.co. allso would require contact number for my supplier.

Umm... I seem to recall that a kit collection software was offered by a guy on Modeling Madness for U$19-29.

Folks here have suggested Excel spreadsheets.

I've pulled a database together using Open Office. It's free, and runs like a Microsoft Access database, but some skills are required.

I hired a person to inventory my stash last year. She told me she needed help 2 weeks later, so I hired 4 more people. They are still working on the first set of controled climate storaged units with 150 to go. no counting my house or work area.
Good luck
