I think I can hook you up.
Are you talking about the doughboy type of helmet like the Commonwealth troops wore?
Do you have a preference as to the company? I believe what I have are Italeri.
I will check and see what I have.

Hi milvehfan,
I am going to post these photos but I am not the best photographer by any means.

This is the Tamiya weapons set. There is a Thompson, a B.A.R., a .45 auto and a .45 revolver and a Springfield with a scope. The Springfield isn't the best but it might be able to be dressed up some. The photo is upside down but I thought you would be able to see the Springfield better that way.

Italeri helmets. The older flat type helmets are there on the right. I think those are what you are looking for. The bad thing with these is that they all have dents from being pushed out of the mold. You can kind of see them if you look on the right side of the helmets. If nothing else they look like they have seen action.

The other Italeri helmets that I have. They are in much better shape.

Some Italeri Thompsons as well as some M-1 Garands, M-1 carbines and the original long style M-1 Garand bayonet.
Let me know if any of this will work, pm me your address, and I will get them in the mail to you.
Hope this helps,
HARV

No problem, I am glad I could help.
I sent you another PM.
Please share some pictures of your diorama when it is ready. I would like to see it if you wouldn't mind.
Thanks and take care,
HARV
