I like modern armor and ships. I have only found one decent hobby shop in the area, The Train Depot, up in Cleveland. Are there any around the Akron/Stow area that are worth visiting?

Ron,
I forgot about the shop on Portage Trail. I will need to go see if it is still there. A couple years back the shop was up for sale. The guy who ran it wanted to retire. I found there is a Hobby Lobby in Medina.

A few weeks ago, I stopped by the Whsitle Stop in Cuyahoga Falls. The new owner, Kevin, is very knowledgible about armor. The store has got a great selection. He is also able to to order stuff as needed. I got my kit less than 1 week.

Hi, FYI. There is the Erie scale Modelers club and a club in the Cleveland area. Both probably too far for you. The Erie Club usually has its annual show / contest in Sept. Welcome to the fourms, milvehfan
