Hi thrillseekers!!

My son Ben and I just returned from from his grad 2009 school trip to Normandy. He attends the Juno Beach Academy of Canadian Studies here in Calgary (named after Juno Beach of course). The class spent all year fundraising for the this trip to Normandy so they could receive their graduation medals on Juno Beach.

It was a trip of a lifetime and one we'll both remember forever. Here's some snaps of the trip including a couple of 'proud papa' shots at the end.

..great shots Bob - looks like you caught the best of our recent fabulous weather...! We had plenty of live TV coverage from Colville-sur-Mer (US cemetery at Oamaha beach) for the 65th anniversary last Saturday - and I thought your Prime Minister's speech was especially impressive, half of it in French.
