Hello everybody, the last few weeks I bought some railwaykits, 2 flatbedwagons (1 Dragon 4axle & 1 Ironside 2axle) an Italeri AB 40
(rail-version) and a Dragon "Schwere Panzerspahwagen". Being a railway
man for 30+ years got me interrested in armored trains ! Now I'll come to the point : anyone has some advice on scratchbuilding a "Panzerzug" ?
I have some drawings of a Russian PL-35 & PL-37 on 1/35. Some of the other drawings I have are on 1/87 (converting to 1/35 is no problem) What do you guys think ? Would it make a decent project ?

Check out the books "German Armoured Trains Vol.1" and "vol.2" and the Trojca publication "Panzerzug", which features 1/35th drawings. Trojca sometimes has a fanciful interpretation of things but his train book looks pretty good. Don't forget Trumpeter make the armed railcar version 1 and 2....HTTP.
