It's a great time to join (or renew your membership in) AMPS.

AMPS is all about armor modeling, so if you are here on this site it's right up your alley. You get six issues of Boresight per year, a voice in the club, and the knowledge that you are helping to support our shows. It's a way to be a "good modeling citizen". Everything that happens in AMPS happens because of the volunteers. Help 'em out by joining.

The number of AMPS chapters has just about doubled in the last few years, so there may be a local club near you. If not, why not start one? It's easy to do and makes the hobby a lot more fun.

Our shows feature the AMPS judging system, which awards Gold, Silver and Bronze medals (no 1,2,3). You aren't competing against your friends - you are competing against the standard with detailed feedback to help improve.
