Last weekend, the Australian Capital Territory Scale Modellers Society held it's annual ScaleACT scale model show and competition. I attended (after a 8 1/2 hour drive) with eleven of my kits that I entered in the Competition. Out of these eleven entries, I ended up taking home all 3 places in the 'Prehistoric' Category (which began as the miscellaneous category) and 3rd in the Sci Fi Category. All in all, ScaleACT was a great show to attend. It was well laid out (bar the lighting issues which the venue and organisers are working to improve for next years show) and extremely well supported by sponsors, vendors, volunteers and the general community that filed in through the doors.
