All,
I am moving out to clarksville Tenessee in a couple weeks. Just wondering if there are any Hobby shops or modelling clubs in the area.

Maybe you can start a club, that way I have some place to go next year when I get there.

Is someone getting sent to Ft. Campbell?
I don't know of any clubs, but I did a stint with 5th Group a while back and visited Action Hobbies of off Riverside. They have a small (and old) selection of armor on the left as you walk in, but the owner is happy to order models, and apparently is Army friendly, as I got a very good deal on my order.

Joe- thanks for the info about the mall in Hopkinsville....I will check to see if it is still there.

Robert- Yup, getting sent to Fort Campbell. I Just returned from clarksville on the 17th. While I was there, I did find Action Hobbies. Larry, the owner seemed like a pretty cool guy. His selection was just like you said....very small. Surely there will be something available in Nashville which isn't too bad a drive.

If you haven't been there already, you'll enjoy the 101st Museum. The better eating and drinking establishments I'm sure you'll find on your own, as any good soldier will, but I DO know some good Korean places...
