Hey folks:

Wasn't sure where to put this. Thought these photos would be fun, including the Ripsaw tank. They had an Abrams, a couple of Paladins, many Humvees including an M1114, M113 and other variants... No Strykers though...

Now what's that? I don't remember seeing this one before. Looks remote-controlled to me... A recon vehicle of some kind?

That is a Ripsaw experimental RC tank. I believe the idea is to produce lots and lots of them as "throwaways" so soldiers do not have to go into harms way and since they are cheap lots of them can be destroyed - no big deal. And since there is a lot of "air" it is not all that easy to hit it where it hurts.

The Ripsaw looks like it'll be relatively cheap, maneuverable, and lethal. It will accept various weapons platforms and since it's RC, no soldiers at risk. Here's one video that I found: Ripsaw
