Here is my attempt to convert a 1/48 Hobby Boss T-34/85 into a postwar Czech VT-34 ARV. I got inspired fter watching a few Tank overhaul shows on the Military Channel and recently coming across my box o' conversion kits including a few VT-34 conversions in 1/35. I decided to make my own in 1/48 using the 'fully' detailed Hobby Boss kit as a base as it has the full interior!

it will become this after I'm through with all the rendering...

Here are some shots of the build so far...

(The crewman is a converted WWII Russian pilot from Warriors)

And this is where it's at now with more details coming into focus...

and finally a shot with my opened up T-34/76, also by by Hobby Boss!

That's what I got this week, I'll post more as I trudge on

Cheers, dR3W

Andrew-
nice work man! That is an ambitious project even without an interior!
One minor complaint.... next time start posting pics earlier so I can enjoy the whole process.

If you can continue posting as you paint it, I will get over it.

Seriously- one of the nicest pieces of work I have seen in a while! Thanks for sharing it.
