My choices for airbrushs are......

#1 Badger 175 Cresendo for general coverage and some freehand camo stuff its a great siphon
feed airbrush and can be found for a reasonable price. If you live near a Michale's Craft store. Look in the local papers for their 40% off coupon.. reg price is around $100 and the coupon helps. I got this airbrush about 6 months ago and it really helped improve my airbrushing skills.

#2 Badger Universal 360 Just got this one. is a siphon Feed and a gravity feed all in 1. got it mainly for the gravity feed. so I can do touch ups.. thing will work with just a drop of paint in it.. and I can make nice fine lines with it. so far i've done very little general coverage with it but what i've done came out great. This one costs a bit more.. Cheapest i've seen it is at a Blicks craft store for $138 and thats just for the airbrush without the hose.

anyways those are my choices and i'll stand by them.. used the Aztek brand for about a year, had 3 of em and I won't bad mouth them. all i'll say is since getting my badger I never used em again.

Been a long time since I been here!

As long as your compressor works, why replace it? If you need just a regulator - get one with a moisture trap too. It should cast around $40 - 50+, depending on quality.
I too use the Aztec A470 and just love it. It's easy to use, easy to change tips on the fly, and easy to clean.
I also have the Iwata Eclipse BCS. It's incredibly smooth to use and produces a beautiful finish. Took me a longer time to learn how to use it properly though. And more expensive the the Aztek.
