That's pretty cool. What's it made out of?

It is made up of sheet styrene discs on a brass-tube keel. The "skin" is made up of individual .20 sheet styrene plates. The engines are motorized and it about 26" long and 8 inches in diameter.

You know what would be really cool - make v2 and skin it with some kitchen plastic wrap.
It would really make a nice cohesive look to it.

Good job. Here's something I think you will enjoy: this is a picture of the inside of the gondola of the U.S.S. Macon. Lighter than air, stationed at Moffett Field, California. Lost at sea off Point Sur in 1939 ( I think ); she carried 5 Sparrowhawk fighters, and was very big. The hangar still stands, a couple of miles from where I live. Hope you like it. Can't wait to see the next one.

Matt

That is sick, I like alot. How about V2 with a helium filled cor and some RC components? You would get the enjoyment of building it and then the thrill of flying it as well. Very cool design and great execution
