I was hoping some of the Australian armor fans out there could help me with some confusion: I bought the Trumpeter ASLAV-25 kit the other day at my local shop; looked in the box and thought the molds and PE looked great. When I got home, I read a very informative review by Jason Miller (thanks for the info!) and thus began my quest for updating the kit. Here's what I have on order so far: All from Mouse House:
MA117 1/35 ASLAV / LAV / Stryker Platt mount with MAG58
MA129 1/35 ASLAV APC (Type II hull) Phase 3 commanders cupola
MA121 1/35 Australian Pattern ASLAV wheel hubs (8)
I know I need their mesh because it's square and not diamond as depicted in the kit. Did I get the right stuff and is there anything else I could use?
Since I am new to the Aussie Armor subject, I need some help! (I think the three-tone camo was what really attracted me to the subject.)
Thanks!
Felix

Felix--you stand a much better chance of getting answers if you post your question on the Armor forum instead of this general forum.
