Hi All,
After I read a review on site of some Warriors figures (British Comet Crew), I decided to use the link provided in the review (normally top left hand corner of the page) to go to their website...
And got transported to Modelmecca.com that deals in NASCAR racing vehicles and paraphinalia.
Now, I have VLS Corperation (where I normally go to view Warriors figures) in my favourites, so I clicked the link and..Modelmecca again.

So do Warrior figs have a website anymore?

Martyn,
I googled for Squadron.com (I assume this is the site you mean) and searched for Warriors figs.
Got one result. A human skeleton fig
I'm looking at different examples of WW2 British tank crews and thought I'd check out if there were any others from Warriors.

Tom,

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the history of Warriors, and I must admit I'm a bit sketchy on the very early history, but here's a quick overview on why you got to where you got to:

Warriors were a division of The VLS Corporation, ModelMecca was the online retail portal of VLS. VLS recently (about 2-3 years ago?) sold out to Squadron.com.

So, to answer your questions:

- Warriors didn't have their own website (not that I know if) but did have a product line page on ModelMecca
- The reason you're ending up on a NASCAR page is probably because the domain name's been sold (just guessing here)
- Squadron.com would probably have the most complete listing of Warriors figures as they own the line, but they're certainly not the only place you'll find them.

With regards to the review, was that on one of the Kitmaker sites? If so could you please let me know which review it is so that I can fix that incorrect link?

VLS Split up..... Verlinden went (back on) his own way and the VLS-VP website changed to Modelmecca....... which then was sold to Squadron a few years later.

Martyn,

I know that. FYI Bob was the "L" in "VLS". He didn't create it per se, but he and his wife certainly were the energy behind it. Bob is actually one of my all time favourite BIG diorama builders

Just out of curiosity ...

If the V was Verlinden, and the L was Letterman, who was the S?

Verlinden, Letterman & Stok. Jos Stok was a Dutch investor in the original Verlinden, Letterman & Stok Inc. Bob bought Jos out in '95, which is when it was renamed The VLS Corporation.
