Has anyone built the S-Model (from Poland, I think) resin Sexton 25pdr SP Gun kit?? If so, is it worth the money, or should I scratchbuild one?
Any advice gratefully accepted.

Buddy of mine has one that he is building right now. I was impressed with the quality of resin and fit. The gun gun is a very nice model by itself. Only down side is the tracks. Full of flash and very delicate. Buddy is replacing with standard Shermie track.
Hope this helps.

OK. Thanks for the reply. Due to budgetary restraints, I am going to go the scratchbuild route. Any chance you can get digital pics of his model, especially the gun mount, so I can get an idea how to construct the mount?

Good plan, Art. The gun is a direct copy of the Tamiya 25 pounder. I'm not too impressed with mine, I'll be using it for a basis of a mostly scratchbuilt job too. I've been collecting reference on one of these beasties for a while now, just have to get at 'er one of these days. Give me a few days and I'll take some pics of the parts plus relevent photos if I can dig them up.
