Ok, we are packing up the car with everything we need that will not be in the RV, including my model tools and books. How do I make them, so called comfortable, in the new england humidity and the florida heat? Most likely they will be staying in there untill further notice, so at least a month. Will the Humidity and heat destroy my books?

You might want to try to keep them in those large plastic tubs that you buy in Wal-Mart. They have the rubbermaid lid. Place a used dryer sheet (like Bounce or some other store brand) between some of the books to keep them from getting musty. I haven't tried this at home, but it may work.

I pack mine with Silca Gel to asborb the moisture inside the box. It helps, I don't have any mildew-damaged books...
