Hey,
I was thinking and I thought that maybe everyone could show their ULTIMATE accomplishment! What is your best work? Is it Armor? Is it a Figure? Or is it a diorama that has an amazing story and detail?
So....... lets see your Pride and Joy!!!!

PS- I will show you mine as soon as it is done!
(The model is done, but it still needs a base)

Also, this would be a great way to see different techniques, and ask questions about how something was done!

Later,
John

Here's my favorite. It took the better part of a year to complete the Aries 1/32nd F conversion. I am very slow

It’s really difficult for me to choose just one kit that I’m the most proud of because there are two models that were firsts for me. The 1/35 Dragon Kingtiger was the first kit that I airbrushed the camouflage freehand (no masks or templates used) and had it come out really good.

The second is the 1/35 Dragon Panzer IV F2(G) and from start to finish I completed this kit in 8 weeks which is a record for me. I’m a very slow builder. These kits are both my pride and joy.

Wow, for the KT you did a good job for a "free-hand job"! GOOD job on the tracks too.
As for your IV, its an awsome build, and again great job on the tracks, they look perfect!
Great work area too!

My greatest pride and joy: 1/1 figure, made 10,5 month ago:

and for models... all in 1/35 (they're not perfect but I sort of like them):

BTW: I'm building K5 gun so it will probably replace them...

I have a couple.
This one is my first 'scratch built' model, so I suppose it's my favorite:

This diorama has always been one of my favorites:

Although, it's hard to pick one because the seems like your last one is always the favorite until the next one starts looking close to finished.
'Pripyat'

'The Clubhouse'

'The Grateful Dead'

Cheers,
Charles

Charles,

these are REALLY great!
I've seen 'The Clubhouse' in your thread showing the making of it, but I've never noticed that third boy sitting in a car.
The last one does not look like Jerry Garcia but it still is gratefull

Andrzej

EDIT: I've been wriitn this post while Jimmy.C posted his, so here is the answer:
Marder is old Tamiya kit but I don't remember the number - I'll check at home and PM you with exact data (I still have the box under my desk).

And you are 100% right - Rafal is a very happy, cheerful boy, and I'm as proud as I can be

Right now I'm spending a lot of time and energy saving my kits FROM him .
He's very curious and it is hard to keep him away from the desk I work on - he already have a lot of fun playing my guitar .

I have to agree with you guys- My children are my pride and joy.....

But modeling wise this is it. 36" tall and 100% scratch-built.

The good or bad news depending on how you look at it Andrzej is they grow up, and then they just damage your bank account.

Some nice models/kids/cats & significant others above guys.

My pride & joy, in terms of models at least, is always "the last one" until "the current one" is complete.....
