Can anyone help. I'm intrested in buying "Panzer Aces II" by Franz Furowski . There are two editions 1st black cover of Nick Leck's of Wiking Panther 801. 1st edition published by JJ Fedorowicz hardback 2000, sounds good 100+ photos etc. Costs £35. 2nd published by Stackpole Military History, softback 2004. Costs £1.99. The second book gets very bad reviews. Are they the same book or is the second missing the photos. Is it that its the same book but you are paying for 1st edition and its a hardback Any help would be great. Thanks Geraint

Same text, but I recall John telling me there were fewer photos in the Stackpole edition. Photo reproduction in the JJF book is also much better.

If price is not an issue, go with the JJF hardback.
