I have always used testors RED for my models..Its sets fast and strong..Recently I picked up a bottle of the BLUE stuff.. I was a little dissappointed in the slow set up time...I wonder why there is a difference...?
The final cure seems strong as the RED stuff, and it does smell nice!...I did over 50 planes with one bottle of testors red!

Blue stuff is non-toxic and has a citrus smell to it. I remember using it way back when for doing those large items like boat hulls, aircraft fuselage halves. The slow drying time allowed the glue to be applied to the entire piece and then joined before the cement dried.

I rarely use tube glue now. Testors liquid cement and Tamiya extra fine are the ones I use now. Tube glue still has its uses though and I have many of tubes that came with some model kits.
