OK, I just came back to modelling after moing across the country and such, have been out a coupe of years,

When I left it there was Tamiya and Dragon, and of course verlinden, and a host of other mall resin cast companies.

What are these new companies kits like? Masterbox? Mini art? they are new to me anyway...lol

Hey Rob,

Wellcome back to the hobby. Lots have happened and giving a full accout of the companies on the market is a relativly big task.

A good startingpoint would be skimming trough the reviews you find on this site, depending on your interest there will propably be enough to choose from.

Generally speeking, the quality level is high, the subjects getting more and more diverse, but the approach from each company can be quite different.

Cheers/Jan

While there have been new names added to the manufacturing mix, not much has really changed. Each company has its gems and dogs. It is best to look for a specific subject then look to find which is the better kit of that subject.

Check out reviews listed here, Perth, ML, etc.
