The annual AMPS International show will be held Apr 17-18 in Havre de Grace, Maryland - right down the road from the ordannce Museum.

With apologies to Galland or whoever that geman fighter pilot / author was, this year AMPS is a "first and last" deal:

First: For the first time, you can re-up or join and make your membership for up to three years. This avoids the hassle of having to re-up over and over annually. If you're in AMPS for the long haul anyway, save yourself some hassle and join for several years now, in one go.

Here's the link: http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/membership.aspx

Last: This year's show is the "Last of the line" in the Aberdeen, Maryland area. The Ordnance Museum is moving and they'll be taking at least some of their toys with them to Fort Lee, Virginia. AMPS has long since outgrown the site anyway so all future shows will be elsewhere. This is your last chance to visit the existing collection at the Ordnance museum, and enjoy the AMPS show (with the best hobby shop in the world and the best armor judging system) all in one place!

So join us, have a beer with some new or old friends, and tank on!
