Hi All,

With the release of the new Italeri 1/35 scale Schnelboot S 100 Creative Models Australia, along SAB Products, are now developing a full conversion kit to radio Control.

The kit will include all running gear such motor, mount, reduction box, prop shafts, props, rudders, tiller arms, and all other necessary equipment and hardware.

It will also include some new mouldings where appropriate, formers, fibreglass, seals & boots and whip aerial.

A full set of instructions will also be included. Radio gear and batteries will not be included. All mountings and formers for radio gear and batteries will be included.

At this stage a final RRP has not yet been established, and we are taking expressions of interest from modellers that would be interested in this kit.

Please contact us directly, so we can gauge the interest and numbers needed for production.

Kind Regards,

Glen Burns

Hi All,

Just a quick update on the conversion kit. We have all new formers designed and made, motors, gearbox’s and prop shafts have now been selected and fitted, radio compartment designed, and new mouldings are about to be worked on in the next day or two.

We are now working on decking attachment and watertightness, as well as looking into operational torpedo doors and torpedos.

Hoping to have the test model in the water fairly soon for trial CG and buoyancy testing.

This boat floats!!!! With only the motors, servo, shafts, rudder, and deck on place, the S100 sat about an inch above the waterline. A little tap on the back, and she was moving!!

y the time you add motor batteries, and receiver pack, plus the rest of the model, she will sit in the water real nice.

At the moment we are now building up the rest of the kit, deckong, superstructure etc to finalise how the decking will be fitted for reamoval and watertightnes.
