Well, I'm glad you clicked on this topic! It must mean that you are concerned about poverty, right? If so, please read on.

Some of us may have heard of the modeller Scott Girvan, otherwise known as "scaleModelAddict". Over the past two months, Scott has been producing his own YouTube modelling show, a very entertaining one at that. Behind the plastic, rock-n-roll and insane humour, Scott's motivation for running the show is to donate all profits to the construction of a water well in Africa. I'm sure you all agree that this is one very good cause!

I am currently offering a service on the Kitmaker Net. where modellers can order engraved ‘name plates’, which can be attached to dioramas or model display bases. Starting from now and continuing through the month of March and April, I want to donate 100% of my profits to Scott's African well fund.

I’m not trying to impress, nor am I doing this to be seen as a charitable or selfless person. I simply wish to assist Scott in helping these poverty-stricken African people who go thirsty or are forced to drink contaminated water. It is Scott who is making the biggest sacrifice, spending 10+ hours recording/editing each show, and of the proceeds he is not keeping a dime.

The Kitmaker Net. has roughly 30 000 active users (Jim S. can verify this if he wants too). My point is, if every user contributed just a small amount of money towards the cause, imagine the impact on the poverty-stricken in Africa!

Professionally engraved name plates can be ordered here.

If you do not want to order an engraving, and would rather assist Scott directly, merchandise can be purchased from his website.

Scott's "GeekfoMercial", can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta7pXfTSkSc&feature=channel_page

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you can support the fund.

Best Regards,
Chas Young

G'day, just reminding you of this cause.

If you need and engraving for you diorama/ model base, there is no better time to order than now.
