Dear all.

I would like to know if its advisable to use a fret saw (f.e. ds230/e from PROXXON) to cut this thick/big 'cast-on section' (this shiny end of a resin part) from 1/16 or 1/9 bodies? I can not image how this thiny saw blade can do its job.
Using the Dremel is really inconveniantly!

Best regards

Alex

Yes a scroll saw would work for removing the casting blocks.

(a fret saw is the handheld version of the scroll saw)

the blades may liik thin... just let the blade do the work and you'll be fine!!!
