I posted this over on the Aeroscale forum and thought post here as well. I was sent a link the other day via Facebook (got to love it!) of some brilliant footage showing some aircraft in action during WW1 which is currently at the Australian War Memorial. The observation balloon going down is amazing! They have opened up a new permanent exhibition depicting aircraft used during WW1 over the front which looks amazing and am looking forward to visiting sometime soon. If you follow the link to www.awm.gov.au and then to the "Over the front: the Great War in the air" you will see not only the exhibition taking place but some original aircraft footage. Enjoy
