Hi all, I'm working on a 251/16 Flamethrower version and I need some advice. What pressure should I use and how should the paint be mixed to make a nice camo pattern without overspray? I am using GSI Acrylics. Are there any other important things that I should know?
The bad thing is, that I already tried it under 1 bar and paint mixed ca. 1:4. When I hold the trigger halfway back, there isn't much paint coming out, but when I add just a little more, it comes out in a streak and I end up with a little puddle of paint on my model. I use a new Iwata Revolution BR.
Thanks alot for your help.

Hi Jan,
check out this link on thinning paint for airbrushing. It also has recommended PSI settings to use.
http://www.craigcentral.com/models/thinning.asp
For camouflage I usually spray at 10-15 PSI and remove the protective cap from the needle to get thin sharper lines when spraying. I have an Iwata HP-CS airbrush.
Hope this helps.
