I was wondering what some of you do to reduce the image of the decal on your models. I can see some of the shiney edge. Will dullcoat work to reduce this?
Any info would be great.

Dullcote won't do too much. What I do is to gloss coat the whole model and let dry, apply decals and let dry, apply gloss coat again and let dry, and finally apply a dullcote.

When I decal, I hand brush future floor polish on the areas that decals are going to go. Then I do the final coat after the deals are on. That way it still stops silvering, but im not filling in all the details with a bunch of clear coats.
