Just completed a PT109 1/72. and a 1/48 Albatros DIII

Just picked up today a IDF M151A1 SHMIRA by Academy.
I'm trying a bit of everything since I just started back at the hobby. I'm using the SHMIRA to work on my painting skills since the model was in the right price range and the detail is outstanding for this model.

Still kind of shy to post photos of finished projects. I see the projects you all have completed and it kinda scared me off. I did post some of the Albatros and did get great feedback. This next build will take me some time. I want to work on my skills.

Don't get scared off by the great works here and elsewhere, everyone has to start somewhere. The best way to improve and work on the ol' skillz is to post WIP as well as completed works.

Don't be shy to post, even mistakes - have a look at my recent M8 HMC blog, and you'll see what I mean. I misplaced a jobbie on a doodat and one of the guys in the know picked it up - now I can fix it before I bollocks it up further

I'm currently finishing a Tamiya 3.7cm PAK36 anti-tank gun which is going to be used in a small stand-alone diorama It seemed a nice weekend project that will make use of some old racing trophies (for the base).

I'm also finishing a Tamiya 88mm FLAK gun for another diorama project. As you can see I have no shame about building these old junk kits. I must have a half-dozen of these Flak guns from not jsut Tamiya, but also Dragon and AFV. Just a great subject.

After those are finished to my satisfaction I think the next project is a Dragon Marder IIIH and crew. I'm undecided on what to do for the base with that one, which keeps it on the back-burner.

I am still working on scratch building another RammTiger but this time in metal with a full interior.

None of this includes several built models that are in need of the tender kiss of the Airbrush.

Hmm, aside from one 1/72 PT Boat, ships seem to be on the light side in this thread.

Sammuel, like Rudi says, don't be shy about posting your work. We all had to start someplace and ain't nobody gonna think any less of anyones' work with just a few kits under their belt. Who knows, you might even get some tips that will help.
