When uploading to the gallery we no longer have the option of selecting the category you wish to upload to ON the upload page. You will need to NAVIGATE TO the category page you wish to upload your photos to first and then click "Upload Photos" before anything else.

Thanks,
Jim

Chas,
I don't know what to tell you then. I uploaded a photo to it earlier today (then deleted it).

Make sure the photo you are trying to upload is not larger than 1mb. Pre-sizing photos is always a good idea before trying to upload (300kb is a good target).

Hi Jim, my photos are all well below 300kb.

As I said in the other post, I've managed to upload the pictures doing one at a time, instead of both together.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Jim. FYI
I uploaded 6 images yesterday to my gallery .... but had to upload them one at a time. When I tried to do them all, or even 2 at a time, I got the red warning.
When uploading one at a time, it was no problem. Dont know if information is of any use to you?

Yes, I'm logged in. Is the the upload button on the top of the page, the bottom, on another location? I'm having a heck of a time.
Thanks,
Don

The upload button is in the top right corner of the page, next to "Logout".

Remember you must now navigate to the page you wish to upload your photos to first and then click "Upload Photos" before anything else.

Here's a screen shot of how it should look like:
The upload button is inside the red rectangle.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Guys!
CMOT has a good post on uploading photos also. I'll give it a try & see if I can do it. I didn't know it would be so darn tedious.

Go to the picture you want to add.
Click on it to enlarge it.
Right click on the picture, and 'Copy Image Location' in the pop up box.
Go to your post where the picture has to go, and click on the [img] box underneath the reply box.
Paste the Image location in it's place in between the [img] tags.

Followed all the rules.
When I get to the place where you click on upload I get this message even before selecting which photos to upload;
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 524293 bytes) in /home/kitmaker/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 2617

I deleted all my cookies and internet files but am still getting that error message.

Hi folks

Is there a way of transferring photos to a campaign gallery that are already in the Kitmaker gallery in my personal photos section? Or do I have to upload new photos to the campaign gallery?

thanks...

How many photo's cane you store in kitmaker? I tried to load about 10 doing them 1 at a time and I ran out of space. So how do you keep enough pictues to cover the campaigns you are in? Because if I delete the photo out it will disappear from the campaign gallery? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thomas there is no answer to that question as it depends on your picture size. If you keep your pictures to 800 X 600 or 600 X 400 Pixals you will have space for a fair number of pictures.

Hi Thomas, I have found the best solution is to use a site such as Photobucket. They are free and virtually unlimited storage, and super easy to link your pics to the Campaign threads.
